Founder Seuk Hoon Kim mulled over a sense of cultural identity, moving between Korea and the United States early as a child. Having lived in different regions from California to Texas to New York region in the US, he naturally developed the ability to absorb different cultures with an open mind. The word ‘eccentric’ was a word that professors often used to discribe his work during his critique at Columbia University. He named his studio after it, which sums up his attitude towards uncommon interpretations of elements that might feel familiar to everyone else.
